BLUEBERRY YOGURT [Fills 5 pouches]

PERFECT FOR SCHOOL LUNCHES!

*Honey not recommended for children under 1 year

  • 2.5 cups Blueberries (fresh/frozen)
  • 1/2 cup honey*
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (from a small lemon)
  • 2 cups plain full fat yogurt

In a medium saucepan, combine blueberries, honey & lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to a gentle simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes

For a smooth consistency, strain the mixture through a fine mesh colander into a bowl. Mash the blueberries with the back of a large spoon to extract as much liquid as possible, then discard the mashed blueberries.

Chill the blueberry mixture, then combine with plain full fat yogurt.

Spoon into 5 Pouch Love reusable food pouches – Freeze / store in refrigerator for 3 days.
